Angela hates mosquitoes and they absolutely LOVE her! We learned about Mosquito Joe and were very interested in the concept, due to concerns about the dangerous diseases that mosquitoes and ticks can carry. Angela was skeptical, but after having our yard treated by another Mosquito Joe franchisee, we noticed a dramatic difference in the number of mosquitoes that were present on our property. As we began to learn more about the Mosquito Joe franchise, we felt that their values aligned with ours, as they focus on providing exceptional customer service and education while building relationships with customers.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Justin and Angela both grew up in the south metro area. We have been part of the Lakeville community for over 20 years. We have two boys and a goldendoodle named Zamboni. We are thankful to be part of this amazing community where kids and families are thriving. Our family enjoys boating on Lake Marion, playing soccer at Casperson Park, and playing hockey at Ames and Hasse arenas. The activities, schools, and neighborhood we are part of have helped us to meet wonderful people. Lakeville is a special place to live and work.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
We love the idea of helping people. Angela is a licensed school counselor and school administrator and Justin works in the banking industry guiding people through the SBA process. We both take great pride in what we do and value customer service and relationships. The Mosquito Joe culture was a good match with our personal values. We are excited about providing this service to our community.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Lakeville Brewing and Brackett’s, it’s a tie! We love the awesome customer service and friendly atmosphere. We can also get “safe” gluten free food at both places. Two of our family members cannot eat gluten, and knowing that these local restaurants will go the extra mile to keep them from getting sick means the world to us.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
We have lived in Lakeville for seven years. Angela has worked for the Lakeville Schools for 20 years.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Wow, that’s a good question. Amy Collins is pretty amazing! 🙂

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Somewhere with palm trees and sun and NO mosquitoes. Our MN summers are too short!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
We just watched The Breakfast Club with our oldest son. It was mind boggling how deep it was (from numerous angles) now that we are so much older!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
We talk with our kids a lot about integrity–doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Traveling around the world….

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
“Alexa, play top country music.”

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Downtown Lakeville has changed quite a bit over the past 20 years. It’s exciting to see new restaurants and businesses drawing people to the downtown area.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
We’d love to have lunch together! With our busy schedules and growing a new business we are pretty busy. A lunch date sounds awesome!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We love the people here!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In Lakeville, of course!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
