Lakeville is a vibrant, growing city with award-winning schools, many parks, miles of walk/bike trails, successful businesses, lakes, golf courses and lovely neighborhoods. Lakeville is a south metro suburb that is conveniently located off I-35 providing access to BOTH 35W and 35E, making it easy to get to either Minneapolis/West Metro or St Paul/East Metro. From the historic downtown to industrial/high-tech business parks, Lakeville continues to attract quality growth while maintaining the small-town feeling and high quality of life that makes it exceptional.
There’s three different school districts that serve Lakeville residents: District 196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan) and District 192 (Farmington) that serves parts of northern and eastern Lakeville. Most Lakeville households typically attend District 194 schools (Lakeville). Lakeville has two high schools, three middle schools and eight elementary schools. Lakeville also has a few private school options, the larger one being All Saints Catholic Schools (K-8).
Some notable parks include: Ritter Farm Park, Antlers Parth, Michaud Park, King Park and Aronson Park. There’s also West Lake Marion Mountain Bike Trail.
